I Frankenstein, one of the most distinct characters in history, focuses on a brand new story after the numerous films based on Frankenstein. It tells the story of Adam, the monster created by Dr. Victor Frankenstein with his own hands. Taking the surname of his creator, Adam gets caught up in a war between two immortal clans in an ancient city. The extraordinary aspect of this terrifying war that takes place in this dark and savage city is that both sides consist of immortal beings.
The original story, titled Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus, was published by Mary Shelley in 1818 and has been brought to the big screen in various adaptations since its first film adaptation in 1910. Stuart Beattie, known for writing the screenplay for Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and Australian films, sits in the director's chair for this latest adaptation.
