Evie (Nathalie Emmanuel), who recently lost her mother, is the protagonist of The Invitation. After taking a DNA test, she discovers the existence of a distant cousin she was unaware of. Evie is invited by her cousin to a wedding taking place at a countryside house in England. Enjoying the glamorous setting and flirty encounters, Evie soon realizes that a gothic conspiracy is unfolding around her. On this journey she embarked on to overcome her loneliness, she now finds herself having to fight vampires in order to save her own life.
