Robbie is a lonely teenager who decides to run away from home due to his frustration with his stepfather, Martin. However, he doesn't escape alone but takes Martin's girlfriend, Keisha, and a substantial amount of money with him. As Martin gets into trouble for the stolen money, he sets out to chase Robbie and his ex-girlfriend. Keisha reveals to Robbie that his real father lives in Los Angeles, so they embark on a journey towards California. Without taking anything other than the money, Robbie and Keisha face numerous troubles and make a mistake during their escape.
