Lawrence Talbot, a cursed writer, returns to his family's home after his brother goes missing. He reunites with his estranged father and together they begin searching for his brother. Soon, he realizes the terrifying fate that awaits him.
Talbot's childhood came to an end on the night his mother died. After leaving the quiet, small village of Blackmoor, he spent years trying to forget the incident. However, news of his missing brother, relayed by his brother's fiancée Gwen Conliffe, brings him back to this village to search for him.
Before long, he learns of a powerful, beast-like creature savagely killing the villagers in the village, and Scotland Yard inspector Aberline, suspicious of these events, arrives to investigate.
