Marona is a cute little dog who experiences a traffic accident. As she lies injured on the street, her adventurous life flashes before her eyes. Marona has had many owners: a little girl, a circus artist, a construction worker, an old woman... She has lived through different adventures with each of them. However, whether she received the love she deserved from all these people is debatable. Marona's Fantastic Journey is an animated film that offers a critique of humanity and explores the concept of unconditional love through the eyes of a dog. It also provides a glimpse into the lives of people from different social backgrounds. The film's unique visual world was created with the support of Belgian artist Brecht Evens, collaborating with Romanian director Anca Damian. The director breaks the concept of space with abstract touches, intertwining certain scenes and taking us on a colorful and emotional journey inside a dog's mind.
