Callie, a single mother struggling with financial difficulties, is forced to move into her late father's old house with her children Trevor and Phoebe in order to make ends meet. Trevor, who is not very happy with their new life, soon discovers a big secret related to his grandfather's inheritance. Among his grandfather's belongings, Trevor finds equipment that indicates his grandfather was a member of the Ghostbusters. As Trevor, Phoebe, and their new friends delve into what they have found, they unwittingly unleash a lurking danger underneath the town.
